Account

An account can be created by tapping the button (located in the upper left corner of the start page in the game). It allows the player to save game progress to the cloud, comment under nonograms and publish nonograms.

Creating an account

To create an account tap "Register" then fill out the form.

1. Enter an email address (or tap the 3 vertical dots to choose an email address from App Store (iOS) or Google Play).
2. Enter a password (must be at least 5 characters long).
3. Enter a name in English (must be 3-32 characters, contain only Latin letters, digits and spaces, and begin with a letter; it must also be unique; it will be shown to others and can't be changed).
4. Agree to storing and processing of personal data typed above for the purpose of authentication.

Sign in

In order to sign in, provide email and password. Email can also be chosen by tapping the 3 vertical dots. If an account has just been created, it won't be needed to sign in. When signed in the "Sign in" text is replaced with the player's name.

Reset password

When in sign in menu, tap "Reset password".

1. Enter an email address from the wanted account.
2. Tap "Continue".
3. A code (6 characters long) will be send to that email address (check the spam folder).
4. Paste the code into the second field.
5. Enter a new password.
6. Tap "OK".

Account menu

In the account menu the player can manage everything related to their account. Below are explained all buttons in this menu:

• Door - log out. Before logging out a prompt will ask: "Log out?"
• E-Mail - shows player's email address. Then the pencil button can be tapped to edit the email address.
• Author - shows the author's leaderboard and where the player is ranked.
• Comments - shows player's recent comments (see Comment's menu > Recent comments: Player_name).
• Play - shows all nonograms made by the player.
• Save progress to the cloud - saves progress to the cloud (UCdevs's server). Upon checking it will save the progress to the cloud.
• Synchronize Now - manually trigger the synchronization process.

Synchronization

Game progress can be saved to the cloud, which allows to switch devices without losing progress. The game automatically saves the progress to the cloud (if "Save progress to the cloud" is enabled), but it can also be manually triggered by tapping the "Synchronize Now" button. Saving progress on the cloud requires internet access. When synchronizing, remember to keep both devices on the same version of the game (some progress might be lost otherwise). When does the game save the progress to the cloud:

• When starting the app.
• After completing a puzzle.
• Other times?

What it doesn't synchronize:

• My Nonograms - nonograms created by the player are stored locally on their device. If these want to be transferred to another device, the folder on these nonograms must be located on their phone and copied to the new device.
• Nonograms in "Started" - nonograms that are started on one device are not transferred to another device (they show as they were never started - unsolved).
• Perhaps others?

"Progress successfully synchronized" text appears at the bottom, when successfully synchronized.

"OK!" text appears at the bottom, if progress was recently synchronized.

If the progress on the device and the serves can't be merged, the player must choose the game progress they want. Usually the progress on the server is the "correct" one.

Synchronization between devices

To synchronize progress between devices follow the steps below.

1. Make an account/log in on the first device.
2. Tap "Synchronize Now" on the first device.
3. Switch to second device.
4. Log in on the second device (with the same account).
5. In case the progress doesn't synchronize automatically, tap "Synchronize Now" on the second device.

Benefits of having an account

• Guild progress doesn't get lost when switching devices.
• Self made nonograms can be published.
• Writing comments under nonograms. Although comments can still be seen without an account.
