Here you can change classes and learn skills. Once you have reached a certain level with your character, you can change a class for Rubies and/or learn a skill for Rubies and Coins.

Classes

Classes give you a permanent bonus, which speeds up your guild progression. You can only have one class chosen/selected at a time. Changing to a class always has the same cost, even if you have previously bought/learnt it. A pop up menu appears before changing classes (see Notes). Classes also have their compensation/drawbacks, which usually comes in a form of less hints per puzzle. They also have a character level requirement, which you have to reach before you are able to buy that skill. Below are listed all classes with their benefits, compensations, cost and when they're unlocked.

Skills

Skills give you a permanent bonus, which speeds up your guild progression. They don't have any compensations/drawbacks like classes, but they do have a higher upfront cost. Each skill can be upgraded multiple times to further increase that skill's bonus. They also have a character level requirement, which you have to reach before you are able to buy that skill. Notes
