General

The phone's screen is too small. Can I play on a computer?

UCdevs' website allows you to play on a computer, but it doesn't have the Adventurers Guild. To also play the guild, download a free Android emulator (see Adventurers Guild on computer for more details).

How to complete secret achievements?

There are 7 secret achievements. 3 require you to solve a specific nonogram, others are related to the guild.

• Play > Black-and-White Nonograms > 30 - 50 > Katana (40x30).
• Play > Black-and-White Nonograms > 30 - 50 > Kabuki (32x50).
• Play > Colored Nonograms > Colored Nonograms by belko61 Part 2 > Dream came true (75x75).
• Adventurers Guild > Airship > Complete 20 flights (to any destination).
• Adventurers Guild > Tailor > Craft Armor for a hero lvl. 4 (requires following Once Upon a Forest and researching various technologies).
• Adventurers Guild > Quests > Complete the quest: Once Upon a Forest.
• Adventurers Guild > Projects > Complete one project group (10 levels). Unlocking this achievement also requires investing in other project groups, because of project restrictions.

How to disable sound?

The sound is coming from broken ads, which Google doesn't want or know how to fix. Here are some possible solutions:

• [Temporary solution] Remove the app from "Recent apps".
• [Temporary solution] Go to the title screen > Play. There should be an interstitial ad. When this ad is closed the music will stop playing.
• [Semi-permanent solution] Disable Wifi (disconnect from internet). Because of no internet access, the ads won't be able to load. Although there must be no sound coming from ads in the first place (see points above).
• [Permanent solution] Buy VIP. This removes all interstitial (and banner) ads. The optional ads in Bourse are still available, but those do not cause the bug.

Adventurers guild

I'm new. How to develop faster, get resources?

The whole point of the guild is to give the player a little extra content on top of nonograms - you are supposed to progress slow. Solve nonograms and follow the building order on this page: Tips for Adventurers Guild.

What is the best class to choose?

This largely depends on your goal. Geologist (Wood and Stone) is generally good. Adventurer (Coins, Gold ingots and Treasures) is also nice, if you need a lot of Coins. If you are solving nonograms with weapons, Samurai and Zen Master are your best options.

Where can I get technologies?

Technologies can be found in buildings. You must first upgrade the building the maximum level in order to research technologies. Most technologies require Blueprints, but not all.

What is the Gong for? Is it worth building?

The Gong unlocks Hall of Fame, which is a global competition of players, who solved the most nonograms. Winners are rewarded with buggles (trumpets with red flags), which can't be used for anything in the guild.

What does a pagoda donation give?

Charity rewards experience points for each Gold ingot donated. In Hall of Fame you can also compete who donated the most Gold ingots.

How to make Trigonometry, Codex, Banner and Guild supplies?

These are Craftifacts. You must craft them in the Craftifact tab by tapping on them to see the requirements.

Where can I get the Black pearl?

The Black pearl in an artifact, which can requires going on a specific expedition. The Smuggler's map for this expedition can be bought in Bourse for 15 Pearls.

What does this Japanese character button do?

This Japanese character "倉" means "warehouse" and shows the amount of items you have in your warehouse in parentheses.

Which crosswords give more experience points (XP), mental power (MP) and resources?

There is no indication in the app which puzzles reward the most XP/MP/items. Solving 80x80 "true" (black-and-white or colored) nonograms always rewards 60 MP as well solving nonograms that reward more than 3000 XP because MP is is equal to 2% (rounded up) of the base experience of that puzzle. MP from a puzzle can't exceed 60 MP (without bonuses).

• To get reward from the same puzzle again, a certain amount of time must pass and you have to solve a certain number of puzzles in the meantime.
• To increase the XP reward you can use Sushi, Cup of coffee, Smoothie, Smoothie 2 and Date cake.
• To increase the item reward you can use Smoothie 2 and Date cake.
• There are many ways to increase MP reward. For more information: Mental power.
• You can find a list of puzzles that reward 60 MP and more than 3000 XP without bonuses in the app under comment section of Nononoobie's nonogram [#191904:Dump your weapons here (List of nonos (3k+ base XP) in comments)] or in this page: High XP puzzle collection.

Do weapons reduce loot?

Weapons (Mortar, Katana, Arrows, etc.) don't reduce loot. Using hints (lightbulb) does reduce loot - use Fans and/or Boomerangs instead. Using the auto-fill feature also reduces loot.

What is depository?

Depository in unlocked with Warehouse lvl. 5 and serves as a "safe" for items. While items are in the depository they can't be used for anything. If you want to use them, you can take them out of the depository. Note that depository doesn't increase Warehouse capacity.

Example: in case you want to save 10 Arrows for a level 1 expedition, but you want to throw other weapons (and also Arrows) in the cauldron, you can put 10 Arrows in the depository. Then you can throw every weapon in the cauldron and you will still have 10 Arrows left. After you are done throwing weapons in the cauldron, you can take these Arrows from the depository and go on an expedition.

How can I speed up the production of items?

Boosters can be used in each building to speed up the production of items. In the screen of each building (both by opening the building in Territory and in Office) at the top right there is or . By clicking on it, the boosters available for that building appear: in all buildings you can use Dates, Soy sauce, Olive oil, Honey, Jam and Mayonnaise, except Field where you can use only Chemicals and Synthetic fertilizer. Every items have two numbers indicated below: a time indicating the duration of the booster itself and the number of items available in Warehouse.
When you unlock Projects you can also choose one of them to increase some production.

Items

Where can I get a green potion (Reagent) to build Airship?

Green potion also known as Reagent can be found in dungeon 3A and deeper.

Where can I get Coffee beans?

The easiest way to acquire Coffee beans is to watch ads in Bourse. The most common way is to do expeditions. When you have reached character level 21, you can also build the Coffee Bonsai, which gives Coffee beans passively.

Where can I get a Very old scroll that is needed to make Trigonometry?

You must first find enough Catacombs map fragments (12) from dungeon 1B and deeper to make a map. To mount a Catacombs map you will need Flatbread, Throwing knife, Greek grenade and Ariadne's thread, which requires Food Stall lvl. 1, Smithy lvl. 3 (with Throwing knife technology), Alchemist's Hut lvl. 6 (with Greek grenade technology) and Tailor lvl. 3 (with Ariadne's thread technology). None of these technologies require Blueprints. After completing the map you will get one Very old scroll (guaranteed).

Where can I get blue paper/drawing (Blueprint)?

Blue paper/drawing also known as Blueprint can be bought in Airship by trading Ancient pages.

Where can I get Spices?

Spices can be found by going on ship missions via a random event or by going on a Spicy Odyssey (requires Ship lvl. 4). Random events are independent of sailing type (Exploring, Fishing, etc.). You can also buy Spices in Caravan, but that is not recommended as they cost a lot more.

How to get Pearl?

Pearl can only be found by going on ship missions via a random event. Random events are independent of sailing type (Exploring, Fishing, etc.), only artifacts can increase them. Later a ship route (Treasure Island) can be unlocked, which can also bring Pearls. To unlock Treasure Island you must complete the quest from dungeon 3A (also requires Black pearl (artifact) and Spicy Odyssey quest completed).

Where can I get Ultraviolet cherries and Mushrooms? Where can I get Woodland strawberry?

Ultraviolet Cherry and Mushrooms can be collected in the dungeon (at any level). Woodland strawberry can be collected only in the Forest (at any level). They can be picked from the floor, apart from Ultraviolet cherry which can be taken from Ultraviolet cherry tree.

Where can I get some thread/rope/rubber?

Thread can be found in dungeon 1B and deeper in boxes, barrels, vases and some enemies.

Where can I get a ball of thread?

Ariadne's thread can be crafted in Tailor lvl. 3. You must also research the Ariadne's thread technology.

I built a field. How to sow Rice or Wheat?

The first Rice and Wheat can be found in the Shop or in the Dungeon. After that, just make sure to have at least 1 Rice or Wheat in warehouse to be able to make more of them.

Where do I get an egg to build the Chicken Coop?

The first Egg can be bought in Shop.

Where to make Sushi? Cup of coffee? What to do with Ultraviolet cherries, Mushrooms and Woodland strawberry?

Cup of coffee and Sushi can be made at the Food Stall.
Ultraviolet Cherry, Mushrooms and Woodland strawberry can be used in the same level where they are found or they can be cooked into Mushroom rice (Bento), Cherry bun and Muffin at the Food Stall.
In order to make some dished other dishes must first be cooked (usually 10 times).

Where do I get Grimoire?

Grimoire can be found exploring the dungeon F2-F4. It is on a podium similar to the Book podium where the Ancient page can be found.

I just got a golden egg. What can I use it for?

Golden egg is considered as an "Easter egg". You can sell it, although many players keep them for any future updates.

Where do I get Tofu?

Tofu can be bought in the Shop.

Caravan

How to get to the closed city in caravan?

A city can be closed (happens randomly) and will stay closed until 05:00, 17:00 or until the caravan returns. It's best to just send the caravan to a different city, in order to not waste time.

How to get to Delhi and buy Spices?

Delhi can be unlocked with Olive oil, Glass and Honey. This city only accepts as payment these 3 items plus Mayonnaise (which requires Olive oil and Glass to be crafted; and Blueprints for learning Mayonnaise technology). You have to have at least Caravan lvl. 3 in order to buy Spices, which cost 120 Dinars. The caravan will return the extra dinars spent (if it's not robbed).

Dungeon

I just built the dungeon, what should I do here?

Dungeon is an RPG (Role Playing Game) in which the player controls a hero and battles enemies (monsters). After entering a dungeon the player has to tap a tile where they want the hero to move and the hero will "float" to that area. Heroes can encounter enemies and traps, for which they will need "mental power" (in-game resource) to overcome them. More information: Dungeon: RPG.

What is the best hero to pick in a dungeon? What skills to learn first?

All heroes have the same parameters, they only differ in appearance. Best skills to learn are the passive skills like Martial arts, Hardening and Agility. Smashing blow lvl. 2 is also very important. In order to progress further you should also learn Doctor and Equipment preparation. Traps should not be learned for early levels as the MP (mental power) spent is not worth the little amount of health lost.

How can I transfer items to the hero? Why Mushrooms, Ultraviolet cherries and Woodland strawberry don't transfer?

While a hero is in the dungeon no items can be transferred to them. Items can only be transferred before entering the dungeon. Mushrooms, Ultraviolet cherries and Woodland strawberries can't be transferred to the dungeon. Only those which are found in the current level can be used. They can be cooked into Mushroom rice (Bento), Cherry bun and Muffin and those can then be taken into the dungeon.

In the dungeon at level 1C, I met a dragon with 500 mental protection. What to do with him?

When you make a move (any move) with the hero, the dragon will poof away. (Please take a screenshot of the text the dragon says.)

I passed 1B, opened 1C, but I can't get into 1B anymore. Why?

"A" levels are always open. "B" and "C" levels close after the hero exits them (either successfully or unsuccessfully). To open 1B, you must first complete 1A. To open 1C, you must first complete 1B.

I went around the whole dungeon 2 times, killed and looted everything, but the "Complete dungeon" button does not appear, and the passage counter shows 90%. Help!

In order to complete the level, you must open all violet chests, collect all Ancient pages from violet book podiums and slay the boss.

1. Look behind pillars and cages (they become invisible when hero is one tile away).
2. Look for any unopened doors (especially if you have a key).
3. Look behind boxes, crates or other objects.
4. If you are in 2B and above, also look for a lever on the floor, ladder on the wall or a trapdoor on the floor and tap on it.
5. Go to stairs (the entrance) and pick a wall. Follow that as you have a hand on that wall. Once you reach the stairs, choose the opposite wall and follow that. This way you will explore the whole dungeon, except there are any "roundabouts" in the middle of the level.
6. Use Ariadne's thread, if you have any. This will lead the hero to a missed violet chest, violet book podium or the boss - or to a closed room which contains these goals.

My hero is stuck and can't move. What can I do?

If your hero has a spiderweb symbol like this above his head, an enemy has used the Spiderweb ability. The hero cannot move for two turns or until combat ends. The hero can use items (for example they can throw Throwing knife or Throwing net) or skills. Alternatively, you can press the hourglass button to skip your turn until the enemy gets close enough to be hit or you can press the hourglass button a second time to make the spiderweb effect wear off. What does the broken green shield over hero's head mean?

During a combat, a symbol similar to this appears over an hero when it has been demoralized by enemy and it means that his defense is weaker. Only enemies with Demoralization ability can demoralize hero. More information about enemies' abilities: Dungeon: enemies.

How can I access the Forest?

To access the Dungeon Forest levels, you must find the Mechanical adventurer in 2B in order to unlock the "Once Upon a Forest" quest. Once you accept the quest, the first Jade Gate will appear in 2C. Once you open it, F1 (the first level of the Forest) will always be accessible. More information: Dungeon: forest.

A bunny/rabbit appears, blowing a trumpet. What does that mean?

If this symbol appears, it means you completed an entry in the Bestiary. You have killed an enemy a certain amount of times (10 times for boss enemies and 20 times for non-boss enemies), so their stats are fully revealed in the Bestiary.

I found a movable white bale/hay ball/parcel/sugar cube. What to do with it?

Movable bales (previously barrels) need to be moved to marked spots in the dungeon (usually in the same or next room), which opens a secret door. Sometimes there is only one or two movable bales - these bales are just for decoration and you can ignore them. More information: Nono-ban room.
