Fan

Fan is an item, which can be used while solving a nonogram to help solve it.

In-game description: Gives only a subtle hint.
While solving a puzzle, open the "sack" in the game menu.

Function: Highlights a row or column, where a square can be filled with a box or a square. If you are stuck, this gives you a starting point.

Acquisitions

Fan can be acquired by:

Solving nonograms.
- The exact drop rate is unknown - although the bigger and more difficult the puzzle, the more you are likely to receive it and in greater amount.
Crafting it in Workshop.
- Items required: 1 x Wood.
- Items crafted: 3 x Fan.
  - Craftable at once: 30 x Fan.
- Crafted in:
  - 10m (Mechanic lvl. 0).
    - 8m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
  - 9m (Mechanic lvl. 1).
    - 7m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
  - 8m (Mechanic lvl. 2).
    - 6m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
  - 7m (Mechanic lvl. 3).
    - 5m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
- Unlocks at: Workshop lvl. 1.
Completing ship expeditions.
- Compensation reward: 0 or 1 x Fan (if all segments fail).
Completing quests.
- WANTED: 0 or 3 x Fan (random drop rate).
Buying it in Shop.
- 4 x Coin => 1 x Fan.
  - Shop lvl. 1: maximum 10 x Fan per cycle.
  - Shop lvl. 2: maximum 20 x Fan per cycle.
  - Shop lvl. 3: maximum 20 x Fan per cycle.
Levelling.
- Every 12th level, beginning at lvl. 3 (e.g. levels 3, 15, 27, etc.), you are rewarded with 5 x Fan.

Fan can be used for:

Upgrading buildings:
- Pagoda lvl. 4: 30 x Fan.
- Caravan lvl. 2: 50 x Fan.
Faster solving of nonograms.
- Gives only a subtle hint.

Fan can not be sold in Shop.
Fan can be thrown into the Cauldron.
