Katana

Katana is an item, which can be used for faster solving of nonograms.

In-game description: Pick a row or column on number bars to reveal whole line.
While solving a puzzle, open the "sack" in the game menu.

Function: Pick a row or column on number bars to reveal whole line. Tapping on cells won't activate it.

Acquisitions

Katana can be acquired by:

Solving nonograms.
- The exact drop rate is unknown - although the bigger and more difficult the puzzle, the more you are likely to receive it and in greater amount.
Crafting it in Smithy.
- Items required: 2 x Steel and 1 x Charcoal.
- Items crafted: 1 x Katana.
  - Craftable at once: 10 x Katana.
- Crafted in:
  - 30m (Blacksmith lvl. 0).
    - 24m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
  - 27m (Blacksmith lvl. 1).
    - 21m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
  - 24m (Blacksmith lvl. 2).
    - 18m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
  - 21m (Blacksmith lvl. 3).
    - 15m with Dates, Olive oil or Honey.
- Unlocks at: Smithy lvl. 3.
Completing quests.
- WANTED: 0 or 1 x Katana (random drop rate).
Buying it in Shop.
- 14 x Coin => 1 x Katana.
  - Shop lvl. 1: maximum 5 x Katana per cycle.
  - Shop lvl. 2: maximum 10 x Katana per cycle.
  - Shop lvl. 3: maximum 10 x Katana per cycle.
Watching ads in Bourse.
- 5 x Katana per 30 minutes.
Levelling.
- Every 12th level, beginning at lvl. 5 (e.g. levels 5, 17, 29, etc.), you are rewarded with 5 x Katana.

Katana can be used for:

Upgrading buildings:
- Pagoda lvl. 5: 30 x Katana.
- Outpost lvl. 1: 100 x Katana.
Learning ship expeditions types.
- Patrolling: 20 x Katana.
Faster solving of nonograms.
- Pick a row or column on number bars to reveal whole line.
- While solving a puzzle, open the "sack" in the game menu.

Katana can not be sold in Shop.
Katana can be thrown into the Cauldron.

Katanas are best used on the edges of hard nonograms and at the start.
