Mental power is an item. It is mostly acquired for solving nonograms. It is mostly used for exploring the dungeon. Note that this page contains only acquisitions and uses for Mental power. For example, for crafting a certain item, additional items might be needed.
Used in a dungeon.
Acquisitions
Mental power can be acquired by:
- Solving nonograms.
- Mental power (later MP) is equal to 2% (rounded up) of the base experience of that puzzle (i.e. experience without bonuses from skills, classes, artifacts, etc).
- Puzzles that give below 45 XP, do not reward MP.
- MP gained from a puzzle can be boosted by applying Fried eggs (20% MP increase), Smoothie (40% MP increase), Smoothie #2 (40% MP increase), Hat of concentration (10% MP increase) and with BMP projects (1% MP increase per project).
- If MP would go over the limit (either in warehouse or in dungeon), items that increase MP can't be used (they are greyed out).
- MP can also be acquired by consuming Teriyaki salmon (+15 MP) and Potion of mental power (+20 MP) while in dungeon.
- MP from a puzzle can't exceed 60 MP (without bonuses).
- Solving nonograms that reward more than 3000 XP always rewards 60 MP.
- Solving 80x80 "true" (black-and-white or colored) nonograms always rewards 60 MP.
- +5% drop chance with Wizard (character class).
- +10% drop chance with Monk (character class).
- +10% drop chance with Scientist (character class).

Capacity[]
- Mental power (later MP) capacity in the warehouse is equal to 70 MP, +10 MP per level of highest-level hero (+120 additional MP if Trigonometry has been crafted), with a minimum of 200 MP. This item's storage capacity isn't affected by any other means (e.g. upgrading Warehouse, learning Athlete skill, etc.). For instance:
- If all heroes are level 1, it'd be 80 MP, but it'll be 200 MP because of the minimum.
- If player's best hero is at level 14, it will be 210 MP (if Trigonometry not crafted yet).
- If player has any heroes at level 26 (max) and has crafted Trigonometry, it will be 450 MP.
- Mental power capacity for a specific hero when entering the dungeon is restricted to 70 MP, +10 MP per level of that specific hero (+120 additional MP if Trigonometry has been crafted); no 200 MP minimum.
- When MP is awarded after solving a nonogram, if a hero is inside the dungeon, it will go to that hero (not to the warehouse), and any excess will be lost. If a hero is not in the dungeon it will go to the warehouse (and again, any excess will be lost).
Trivia[]
