Spices

Spices is an item. It is mostly acquired by completing ship missions. It is mostly used for upgrading buildings and crafting items in Food Stall. Note that this page contains only acquisitions and uses for Spices. For example, for crafting a certain item, additional items might be needed.

Spices can be acquired by:

• Completing ship missions. 
  • Spicy Odyssey: 1 x Spices per 48h.
  • Possible durations:
    • Costs: 16 x Coin.
    • Requires: Ship lvl. 4.
    • Duration: 48h.
      • 43h 12m (with 10% boost)
      • 38h 24m (with 20% boost)
      • 33h 36m (with 30% boost)
      • 28h 48m (with 40% boost)
      • 24h (with 50% boost)
  • Random event: 1 x Spices per ship mission (random drop rate).
    • The odds depend on artifacts and the length of the ship mission (but not the type of ship mission).
    • With all relevant artifacts, the odds of finding a Spices is 25% on a 24h ship mission.
• Completing caravan missions. 
  • City: Delhi.
  • Capacity: 2 x Spices per mission.
    • 3 x Spices per mission, if 4 x Mayonnaise are sold.
  • Cost: 110 x Dinar => 1 x Spices.

    • This chapter unlocks upon completing Chapter XIV. Requires visiting F1, then F2 and interacting with all creatures.
  • The Ordinary Days of an Adventurer Chapter VII: 10 x Spices.
    • This chapter unlocks after completing Chapter IV: Full set.

The list below does not include "operational costs" - like crafting items, mounting expeditions, learning hero skills, etc. It also doesn't inlcude crafting products (e.g. the amount of Wooden beams needed for upgrading all buildings is not counted on the Wood page). Total amount of Spices needed:

• 21 to upgrade all buildings.
• 4 to research all technologies.
• 75 to upgrade every collection in Citadel.
• 10 buy all maps in Bourse.
• 110 in total.

Tips

• Acquiring Spices from ship missions is cheaper than from caravan missions.
• It's recommended to visit Delhi at least once in order to complete the Silk Road quest.
