Treasure map fragment lvl. 4 is an item. It is mostly acquired for completing ship missions (random event). It is mostly used for crafting Treasure maps lvl. 4. Note that this page contains only acquisitions and uses for Treasure map fragment lvl. 4. For example, for crafting a certain item, additional items might be needed.

Acquisitions

Treasure map fragment lvl. 4 can be acquired by:

• Completing ship missions.
  • Random event: 1 x Treasure map fragment lvl. 4 per ship mission (random drop rate).
    • The odds depend on artifacts and the length of the ship mission (but not the type of ship mission).
    • With all relevant artifacts, the odds of finding a Treasure map fragment lvl. 4 is 25% on a 24h ship mission.
    • Requires Ship in a bottle (artifact).

Uses

Treasure map fragment lvl. 4 can be used for:

• While on an expedition.
  • Use on the expedition screen.
• Crafting maps in Expedition.
  • Treasure map lvl. 4: 7 x Treasure map fragment lvl. 4.

Trivia

Originally the Ship would found a Message in a bottle and the player would open the bottle to get a Treasure map fragment lvl. 4. Later this idea was abandoned. That's why when the ship brings a Treasure map fragment lvl. 4 with a random event, the infobox displays a message in a bottle with the text "We found a message in a bottle!"; and not "We found a treasure map fragment!".
